I had the opportunity to shoot a wedding with a friend of mine from high school, Kelly of KG Photography We had a blast shooting together and it was definitely fun to catch up on old-times.

Here are some of my favorite shots from Jessica and Brandon’s wedding. The wedding day was perfect, a little hot but at least the rain held off. Such a great group of people to spend the day with! I must say their reception was probably one of the best I have ever attended! The DJ defintely entertained all the guests with some fun games! The Photo-booth was also a big hit! Congrats to Jessica and Brandon!

Wow, has it really been this long since I blogged?! Obviously I have been quite the slacker with my blog recently. What can i say, life happens. 2 kids, a fulltime day job and then my passion on the side, life gets busy from time to time. I am going to try and post at least once a week, at the minimum. Feel free to bug me if you haven’t seen anything posted in awhile…

Here are some images from a fun shoot that I had with my baby sister, Katie! No matter how grown up she is, to me she will always be my baby sister! Katie and I literally drive around and just stopped at anything we thought looked cool. I would drive two feet and then say “ooohh let’s go over there.” Here are some of my favorite images from our fun, spontaneous session.

Beautiful Avery!

Brown eyed baby girl! Need I say more. One year old Avery is super cute with the most adorable big brown eyes!! The entire family is just super cute, I LOVE the photo with mom & dad out of focus! You can see how much joy little miss Avery brings to her parents. Here are a few images from Avery’s on-location session. Last weekend i met up with Chelsey and her mom. they were so sweet to drive in from out of town. i have known their family for a loooong time. it is so hard to believe that chelsey is a senior! seems like just yesterday she was a little girl, now she is all grown up! we went to a few locations around town. one of my fav’s is the st. anthony main area! so fun!

Amy + Scott MARRIED

almost two weeks ago Amy and Scott were married. i must say this was a beautiful wedding, and they are just perfect for each other. i had so many laughs with them and their guests through out the day! truly a wedding i will not forget. i have so many favorite images from this wedding, i cannot decide what ones to share!

the location was at a historic residence in st. paul, the house was just beautiful! they were married outside and it was a gorgeous ceremony! despite a few bouts with rain the day was perfect and very memorable. Amy looked stunning! i remember her sister saying she looked like someone out of a magazine. which i could not agree more with! congrats to Amy and Scott, I wish you two the best!

handsome little irish baby…

meet sweet baby jack! he is 8 weeks old and from Ireland. i would like to say he traveled all this way just for a photoshoot w/ me…but that would be a stretch! he is here visiting family and to attend his aunt amy and uncle scott’s wedding. baby jack is so cute and has the biggest eyes! so adorable! i must say, he is a very good baby! i hardly heard a peep from him at the wedding. he did a great job for his photoshoot as well. he will have many photos to bring home and share with all his little irish friends. the wedding was last saturday, stay tuned for images from the wedding!

just a few images i captured of my kids over the past weekend. i took them to a new location that i have been wanting to try out for awhile. of course, they hate being the guinea pigs, but with an offer of ice cream when we were done they went along with it! if anyone is interested in some on-location shoots just let me know! there are stills some open times in the next couple of weeks! the weather couldn’t be more perfect this time of year!

i love on-location shoots. you can get many different images with just a few steps. kids also seem to be more willing when they are able to run around and not be forced to sit down and smile when asked to!

at this shoot there were two 1 1/2 year olds and one 3 year old. well technically two 3 year olds, my daughter came along to this shoot as these are friends of mine, so i didn’t take her photo until she jumped in on a few shots. talk about busy!
